Most of PyKota's development takes place on Debian stable and unstable distributions, so Debian is the distribution of choice to run PyKota.

Debian includes by default almost all of PyKota's dependencies, excepted the following ones :

  - "pkpgcounter":Pkpgcounter v1.56 or higher.

  - "Python-SNMP":http://pysnmp.sf.net v3.4.2 to v3.4.4 **ONLY**.
