List of dependencies to be satisfied before installing PyKota :

 Mandatory dependencies :

  - "CUPS":http://www.cups.org (Common Unix Printing System) v1.3.4 or higher. NB : PyKota releases up to and including 1.26 support CUPS v1.1.14 or higher.

  - "Python":http://www.python.org language interpreter, v2.4 or higher.

  - "pkpgcounter":/software/pkpgcounter v1.56 or higher.

  - "pkipplib":PkIPPLib.

  - "mxDateTime":http://www.egenix.com

  - "Python-SNMP":http://pysnmp.sf.net v3.4.2 to v3.4.4,
or v4.x or higher.

  - "Python-PygreSQL":http://www.pygresql.org only if you want to use PostgreSQL as the database backend. Then you'll also need a PostgreSQL database server available.

  - "Python-LDAP":http://python-ldap.sf.net only if you want to use OpenLDAP as the database backend (may also work with other LDAP servers). Then you'll also need an OpenLDAP (or other) server available.

  - "Python-SQLite":http://www.pysqlite.org v2.0.5 or higher only if you want to use SQLite as the database backend. Then of course you'll also need "SQLite":http://www.sqlite.org v3.2.7 or higher.

  - "Python-MySQL":http://sourceforge.net/projects/mysql-python v1.2.x or higher only if you want to use MySQL as the database backend. 
Then of course you'll also need "MySQL":http://www.mysql.org v4.1 or higher (5.x is recommended).

 Recommended dependencies :

  Not installing some of the dependencies below may render some non-vital parts of PyKota unuseable.

  - "Python-PAM":http://www.pangalactic.org/PyPAM/

  - "Python-OSD":http://repose.cx/pyosd/

  - "JAXML":http://www.librelogiciel.com/software/jaxml/action_Presentation v3.01 or higher.

  - "Psyco":http://psyco.sf.net only if supported by your platform and if you want it.

  - "ReportLab":http://www.reportlab.org v1.20 or higher.

  - "PIL":http://www.pythonware.com (Python Imaging Library).

  - "Netatalk":http://netatalk.sf.net -- Usually not needed.

  - "Net-SNMP":http://www.net-snmp.org -- Usually not needed

  - "Python-chardet":http://chardet.feedparser.org/ -- Only needed with PyKota up to and not including v1.27.
